I’m a freelance economist, researcher and policy analyst specialising in strategic policy analysis for climate, environmental and economic transformation.
My work examines how trade, skills, investment and governance can support economic transformation and sustainability transitions. I also assess the economic and social impacts of these transitions, helping ensure that policies are effective, resilient and grounded in evidence.

Career background
Earlier senior roles at Circle Economy and within the UK Government focused on the intersections between sustainability, labour, trade and industry. This included research on the employment impacts of environmental interventions and evaluation of the long-term sectoral impacts of the UK’s exit from the EU.
I began my career at ICF and Cedefop, where I developed expertise in connecting climate policy with trade, labour-market and skills strategies.

I specialise in connecting different areas of research to identify the relationships that matter for policy and decision-making.
I approach each project as a collaborative partner. This means working closely with clients and wider project teams, combining rigorous analysis with an understanding of institutional and political contexts.

My background
As a dual British-Dutch national who works across four languages, I bring a cross-border perspective to my work. My academic background spans economics and sustainability governance, with an MSc in Governance of Sustainability from Leiden University, an MA in Economics from the College of Europe, and a BSc from the University of Warwick.
I am based in The Hague.
